Overview

SWC Technology Partners is searching for a full-time Microsoft Cloud Technologist who will be responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of IT Microsoft cloud solutions. Typical responsibilities for this role will include hybrid and cloud based networking, mobility, storage, virtualization, operations and security infrastructure operations across Microsoft Technologies.

 

A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the implementation and support of hybrid and cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft platform as well as other infrastructure technology solutions. This candidate will have excellent Microsoft knowledge and exhibit strong organization and communication skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, troubleshoot and implement Microsoft and other infrastructure solutions including:
  • Networking, switching and routing experience required (firewall skills a plus)
  • Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) and Active Directory experience is required, to include troubleshooting, design and implementation 
  • Virtualization experience required with Hyper-V and/or VMware
  • Manage the Microsoft Suite of products to include but not limited to Office 365, Azure, Windows Server and related cloud technologies
  • Cloud Storage design and management is a plus
  • General server operating system maintenance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent business experience preferred
  • 2-4 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility within Microsoft Stack
  • Strong background in server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Active Directory and networking is required
  • Enterprise Mobilty Suite experience for security, governance and centralized authentication is preferred
  • Security assessment or cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) experience a plus
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be open to local travel to client sites, if needed 
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
