Overview

SWC Technology Partners is searching for a motivated, detailed orientated Human Resource Generalist (HR) who thrives in fasted paced work environment. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and will be responsible for providing functional support to the Human Resources Department including benefit administration, new hire onboarding, and data management through the HRIS. This role provides an opportunity to learn and build the foundation for a career in Human Resources while also developing important skills and working with various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is open to a role with a variety of responsibilities and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and handling new hire onboarding process including collecting and processing new hire paperwork and coordinating with payroll
  • Complete and handling termination process including termination letters, exit interviews and other necessary paperwork
  • Assist with ongoing benefit administration including processing employee benefit changes; provides first-line answers to benefit related questions
  • Manage paid time off tracking and monthly reporting
  • Assist in communicating policies and procedures to employees
  • Create and maintains employee personnel, medical, and benefit files in accordance with company policies and legal
  • Provide administrative support within the HR department and respond to employee inquiries
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Design and manage various employee activities. This include active participation in SWC’s Wellness and Employee Activity group
  • Assist with various administrative and project assignments as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in human resources, business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience responding to inquiries, interacting with employees daily, maintaining documents, and providing support
  • Must possess the ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task are essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ADP, Paycom, Paycor, Ceridian, or other HRIS applications required
