  • Overview

    SWC Technology Partners is searching for a full-time Cloud Infrastructure Consultant who will be responsible for the implementation of a variety of IT cloud solutions. Typical responsibilities for this role will include promoting innovative solutions within hybrid and cloud based networking, virtualization, and security infrastructure environments to implement best practices across cloud technologies.

     

    A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some knowledge with the implementation and/or support of hybrid environments.  Cloud and/or security experience within infrastructure platforms is a plus. This candidate will exhibit a consultative communication style to clients on cloud solutions. (Willing to train with the aptitude of solid infrastructure fundamentals)

    Responsibilities

    Develop cloud infrastructure skills to be able to design, troubleshoot and implement infrastructure solutions including:

    • Azure or AWS Cloud solutions to promote innovative technologies to solve business problems
    • Some virtualization experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware
    • Basic networking, switching and routing experience (firewall skills a plus)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EM+S) and/or Active Directory
    • Microsoft Suite of products to include but not limited to Office 365, Azure, Windows Server and related cloud technologies
    • Ability to learn and develop security programs and build custom security solutions for clientele

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent business experience preferred
    • 2+ years of technical infrastructure implementation experience with increasing responsibility within Cloud Solutions or Microsoft Stack
    • Some background in server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Active Directory and networking is required
    • Knowledge of EM+S for security, governance and centralized authentication is preferred
    • Aptitude for working in a consulting environment is required
    • Must have excellent organizational and project management skills; as well as, strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be open to local travel to client sites, if needed 
    • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
